Why Cardiff Can Stay Up: Part 2

In section 2 of this part of the blog, I'd like to discuss a few different matters as to why I think Cardiff can stay in the Premier League.
Let's rewind 5 years, to the time Cardiff City joined the Prem for the first time and made it a first season in the top flight in over 50 years.
Crazy Malaysian owner Vincent Tan had just changed to club's identity to red, and caused uproar and protests as fans battled to 'Have Our Club Back' from the man they considered a pantomime villain.
Tan thought red was a lucky colour, and blue unlucky. So fans were split when they saw their side promoted in red, but this is the same man that was disappointed that Player of the Year David Marshall, who played as a goalkeeper, hadn't scored all season.
Cardiff were relegated straight back to the Championship and after that followed years of regression, with attendances falling, with Tan eventually changing the shirt back to blue.
This time however, Cardiff are united, the fans who now support the board, manager and players, are behind the whole club, and everyone is part of the journey together.
The man who has made that happen is the only Neil Warnock. Malky Mackay and Tan never saw eye-to-eye, and Mackay was undeserving of his sacking after just 17 matches of the season.
The Bluebirds sat outside the relegation places on 17 points Ole Gunar Solskjaer came, he could only muster 13 points from his 21 matches in charge which saw City finish bottom of the league.
This season I think the board have learnt from the mistakes made last time out in the Prem and I think it will stand them in good stead, having that experience of knowing how tough the top tier is.
